Driver
The minimum age of the driver is 21 years old, with a driver’s license older than 2 years. Drivers under 24 years of age or with a driving license between 2 and 4 years old will not be able to contract the total excess exemption in case of requesting it.
In the case of reservations with origin in Mallorca or Menorca, the minimum age will be 19 years old with a minimum of one year of driving license. If the driver is under 23 years old at the time of pick up, he/she will have to pay a supplement of 20€/day with a maximum of 100€.
Means of payment
When picking up the vehicle, the contract holder must have paid the total amount of the rental including the reservation:
- The amount of time and mileage according to agreed rates.
- The amounts of the coverages and optional contracted.
- All taxes of any kind levied on the rent.
- Deposit / Excess (depending on the type of insurance contracted).
At the time of vehicle pick-up, up to 2 different credit cards may be requested, the holder of which must be the driver of the rented vehicle. The reservation department will send you a link with secure access to the payment module so that you can pay for the reservation no later than 24 hours before the pick-up of the vehicle.
Only VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS or MASTER CARD credit cards will be accepted for payment.
Deliveries in Menorca and Mallorca that have contracted the all risk coverage may pay by credit or debit card (Visa or Mastercard only).

Limited mileage – APPENDIX 1-
Liability insurance with excess that includes damages caused to third parties and damages to the vehicle caused as a consequence of an accident, fire or theft.
The damage insurance does not include in any case damage to the interior of the vehicle, interior rear view mirrors, underbody, clutch, engine, crankcase, catalytic converter and radiator. Nor does it cover the costs for battery recharging and breakage or loss of keys. Not included in any case are negligence or imprudence, non-accidental breakdowns, as well as damage caused to and by the goods transported or loss thereof, or personal belongings or any other objects deposited inside the vehicle.
Franchises and coverages
The amount of the excess will vary according to the category and type of vehicle.

Mobility
Vehicle departure is permitted to the following countries: EU member states, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg. Departure of vehicles to countries other than those mentioned above is expressly prohibited.
Roadside assistance
The vehicles of our fleet include roadside assistance coverage included in the insurance policy that covers the displacement of the driver and all occupants to the place of destination or to the place of origin as long as the breakdown exceeds 8 hours of workshop labor or 5 days of immobilization of the vehicle.
Important documentation and information
Our reservation staff will contact the reservation holder by email to request the sending of documentation related to the rental contract. The documentation must be sent 48 hours in advance prior to the pick up of the vehicle. The requested documentation will be:
-ID card / NIE on both sides or passport.
-Driving license valid in Spain (front and back).
It is necessary to present the passport, DNI / NIE, valid driver’s license, contact telephone number, email address and a credit card in the name of the driver at the time of collection of the vehicle. The return of vehicles with more than 59 minutes of delay on the end time of the rental contract will be charged 35€ per day of delay plus the amount corresponding to the additional rental days according to the current rate. Traffic fines or penalties are always charged to the renter. No amount will be refunded if the customer returns the vehicle earlier than foreseen in the reservation.
Accessories/Extras
Additional driver: 6 € per day and driver. Booster: 3,75 € per day with a maximum of 45 € per contract and per unit* Child seat: 9,50 € per day with a maximum of 90 € per contract and per unit* Snow chains: 6 € per day with a maximum of 75 € per contract and per unit* *Booster, child seat and snow chains subject to availability.
The vehicle is delivered equipped with an approved V16 beacon in proper working order. The renter is responsible for its safekeeping during the rental period. In case of loss, theft, misplacement or breakage of the V16 beacon, an additional charge of 50 € (taxes included) will be applied for the replacement of the device.
Cleaning
The vehicles are delivered in a perfect state of cleanliness, both inside and outside. Upon their return, they must present a clean appearance in accordance with their normal use. Extreme dirtiness (mud incrustations, waste in the interior, stains on the upholstery, accumulated dust, etc.) will be subject to an additional charge of 100 euros. Camper vans must be returned with empty residual tanks. Otherwise, a charge of 180 € will be charged.
Full/full fuel policy
The vehicle will be delivered full and returned full. In case of not refueling the vehicle a charge of 25 € VAT included + the cost of filling the tank with the missing fuel at current market price will be applied.
In the offices of Mallorca and Menorca the fuel policy will be equal-equal. In case of returning the vehicle with the same level of fuel, the cost of filling will be applied at the current market price.
Payment of the reservation or rental
Full payment of the reservation must be made at least 24 hours prior to vehicle pick-up:
- Advance payment of time and mileage according to agreed rates.
- The amounts of the optional coverages contracted.
- All taxes of any kind levied on the rent.
For the payment of the rental and the deposit of the vehicles, 2 different credit cards may be requested, the holder of which must be the driver of the rented vehicle.
Cancellation conditions*
Reservations made through the web channel are confirmed and guaranteed with the minimum payment of 15% of the cost of the reservation value. You may exercise your right of cancellation free of charge up to 48 hours before the pick-up of the vehicle.
Reservations originating in Mallorca and Menorca may be cancelled 7 days prior to pick-up date, if cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to pick-up date, the amount paid will not be refunded, but may be saved as credit for future reservations.
Modification conditions
Reservations can be modified according to availability and recalculating the new price according to the positioning on the web of the new dates.

Pick-ups and returns at Barcelona-El Prat airport
In order to make a reservation for delivery and pick-up at the airport, you must provide us with the following information at least 48 hours in advance:
– Name and surname of the person to pick up/deliver the vehicle
– Date and time of arrival/departure
– Arrival/departure flight number
Arrivals
-If you arrive at Barcelona Airport Terminal T1, our staff will be waiting for you at Parking D-E-F 4th floor between spaces 024 and 030 with a sign with your name and Quadis Rent a Car letterhead. We will accompany you to the place where the vehicle is located to check out, after identification by ID card and driver’s license.
-If you arrive at Barcelona airport terminal T2, you must go to the meeting point located on the T2B-T2C sidewalk before the Terminal C walkway (bus parking). There will be waiting for you accredited staff with a sign with your name and letterhead of Quadis Rent a Car, who will deliver the contract and vehicle key after identification (ID card and driver’s license). To manage the reservation of delivery and pick up at the airport, you must provide us in advance
