How does the bond work?

The deposit is a deposit that you must leave with a credit or debit card at the time of delivery of the vehicle.

Why do we ask you to leave a bond?

It is a guarantee that we ask for in order to rent a vehicle with Paco Cars. In this way we have a deposit to cover any future payments, such as excess, fuel, delay in the return of the vehicle.

Why do I have to leave it with a card?

Our vehicle return system is designed in such a way that you can return the vehicle within 24 hours. As we cannot be there 24 hours a day to receive the vehicles, if you leave the deposit by credit card, we can return the vehicle without your presence. On the other hand, even if we are present at the time of return, we must check the vehicle and therefore if you had left the deposit in cash you would have to wait for the vehicle to be checked.

When will I get my deposit back?

Our commitment is that we will always return the deposit 24 hours after the return of the vehicle. In most banks the refund is instantaneous, but depending on the bank you work with, the money may take a few days to appear.
